Prior to my retirement I served Saint Luke’s Lutheran church in Summerville, South Carolina, a congregation that purchased a Paccard bell from a company that Stan Christoph was representing at the time. Since my retirement I have served as interim pastor for two congregations: the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and Saint Matthew’s German Evangelical Lutheran Church, both in Charleston South Carolina. At both of these congregations it has been my pleasure to be involved both in the purchase of new bells and the renovation of existing bells with the Christoph-Paccard firm. In all instances I have found representatives of the firm to be helpful, honest, friendly and professional in their relationship with me and members of the parish. Having a high degree of skill in the planning and installation of bells and marketing only products that are of high quality and reliable, the firm of Christoph-Paccard Bellfoundries has my unqualified recommendation.

Dear Stan, Jerry, Phillipe and the rest of the Christoph Paccard team,
I want to let you know how much I am enjoying the sound of our Paccard bells at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. People comment on the bells most every day!
As you know, our church spoke to three different foundries. Paccard stood heads and shoulders above the others in customer service, quality, and most importantly musicality and tone. Having played carillons all over the US and in Europe, I have always had the most musical satisfaction on a Paccard instrument. The warm, rich tone of a Paccard bell gives itself away by the sweetness of sound. When I have to play other bells, or listen to them, I am never satisfied–other companies’ bells are marked by a thin, “tinny” sound, which I know is due in part to the shape of the bell, but also the tuning.
When I attended the casting of our 5.5 ton bourdon bell, I had the opportunity to hear the rest of our bells pre-tuning. They were amazing at that point, but the fine-tuning that the Paccard craftsmen did just put our bells over the top.
Every Sunday morning, following our services, I ring the peal of bells and people always comment that it sounds like church when the bells ring. Brides constantly ask if the bells will ring following a wedding, because they want that joyful cathedral bell sound as they leave the sanctuary.
I would recommend (and have recommended), the Paccard Foundry and Christoph Paccard Bellfoundries to any church that wants a single bell, a peal or a complete carillon. No other foundry can produce an instrument of the same high quality and provide customer service on an equal level.
Thanks for all you have done to enrich the worship life of my congregation! I look forward to working with you all again in the future.
Sincerely,
Monty Bennett

Now that it has been installed in our Mediterranean-style bell tower, it has truly become a special part of our community. Every Sunday morning both before and after our Divine Liturgy worship service we send our team of Altar Boys out in a procession to ring it for the entire neighborhood to hear. We have also had several school children visit with their class on field trips to the Biblical Garden where the bell tower is located, and as a special treat we invite all of them an opportunity to ring the bell.
Our beautiful Saint Katherine bell has become a beloved element of our parish life here in Elk Grove and we sincerely appreciate everything you did for us to make it happen.
May God bless you and everyone at Christoph Paccard.
I just heard the bells for the first time and they are magnificent! The look and the sound is simply breathtaking! I could not be prouder or more pleased with the way in which the whole project has gone. Your work crew for the installation was outstanding.
I find it rare that folks take such pride in their work, but I could sense a real feeling of ownership in their project.
Please express my thanks to Jerry, Chuck, and Chuck’s assistant (I don’t think I ever learned his name). And, of course, please share my kudos with Philippe.
This whole experience has been wonderful, and it has made me so pleased that we chose to do business with ChristophPaccard.
If in any way I can help spread the good word or if you ever would like to refer folks to me as a reference with regard to the bells installation, I freely offer my services.
I know we’ll be checking in soon enough on other issues and there may be a few things to tweak, but I am really pleased and hope you can sense our excitement as a congregation. If I am able to rescue the footage shot by the cameraman from WLTX New 19, Columbia’s CBS affiliate, I will share it with you. I will also try to make certain you see the article THE STATE newspaper is to do on the bells. If you can help promote any of our story through your website, we would certainly appreciate the exposure.
Keep in touch. Again, my best to you and to each of those who worked with you to make the project a success. I am copying Jerry on this note, but would appreciate it if you would share my thanks with the others.
